As you most likely know by now, the things I talk about on social media are things I am actually doing inside of my own businesses.
As I go into the new year and reflect on the past year, I want to make sure I learn from my past mistakes, failures, setbacks or whatever else you want to call it. By the way, this is one of the great things about franchising, you get to learn from the mistakes of others, so you do not repeat them.
One of the big things I had started to implement in 2018, was from a mistake I made a couple years earlier and did not want to repeat it. I put my plan in motion about 2 weeks ago when I sent out a job/equity offer for my fitness franchise in Denver.
So, my new Director of Operations accepted the offer, and she will be headed to manager training soon as we open our Club Pilates in Denver, CO in March. People kept asking me how I found her and I will share that story once she starts, but the short answer is My Network. I want to help others find people like her who want to find managers who have that ownership mentality and want equity. Keep reading, and I will show you how.
